Healthcare jobs in Oman
Overview of Healthcare Jobs In Oman the coming years, the oman will need an influx of medical personnel to meet its growing demand for high-quality medical services. The Director General of the MINISTRY OF HEALTH estimated in early 2017 that Oman will need 8,000 more doctors and 10,000 Allied professionals over the next decade. The World Health Organization’s 2015 World Statistics Report found that the U.A.E. had just 56 nursing and midwifery personnel for every 100,000 people. While this ratio is higher than many countries of the world, it is lower than most Gulf States including Kuwait (45), Saudi Arabia (48), and Qatar (118).
